TOLEDO CITY TECHNO-GABAY PROGRAM (TGP) - "FARMERS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES(FITS) CENTER








"Launching and MOA Signing" of "TGP" held at City Agriculture Services Compound, First part is unveiling the billboard, followed by Cutting of Ribbon of FITS Center and MOA Signing. This project is initiated by PCARRD-DOST, CONSORTIUM, Cebu Technical University-Argao Campus and Toledo City Government. The event is a success and witnessed by farmer leaders, farm women leaders, city agri-frishery council, and private sectors. Techno-Gabay Program is characterized by networking of research and development (R&D) institutions in the AFNR sectors, the Regional R&D Consortia and other members of the National Agriculture and Resources Research and Development Network (NARRDN), the private sector, the local government units (LGUs), nongovernment organizations (NGOs) and other extension service providers, thereby, enhancing technologyutilization, adoption, and commercialization. The objectives; 1. Develop, validate, and promote modalities to facilitate technology promotion, utilization, and commercialization; 2. Strengthen links among technology generators, technology service providers, and technology users; and 3. .Complement efforts of LGUs and rural-based organizations (RBOs) in extension services.
