Toledo City attended the Department of Agriculture Regional Farm Family Forum/Workshop and Gawad Saka Awarding Ceremony on MAY 4-5, 2010. Different contests were conducted like project skills/demo, quiz bee, extemporaneous speech, minus-one singing and poster making. It is participated in by Rural Improvement Clubs, Farmers, and 4-H'ers. Farmers Category, award given to Mrs. L. Caburnay as Gawad Saka- Rice Category and Special Citation to Bagsakan Center in Barangay Putingbato Farmers Association. Toledo City recieved recognition as Over-all Champion in City Level Category in Region 7 as per awards on different contests participated in.
Guest speaker during the Awarding Ceremony is Agriculture Secretary, Hon. Fontabella. Inspirational Messages were also given by DA-7 Regional Director Ricardo Oblena and DA 7 Assistant Regional Director Madam Angel Enriquez.
